Even above the sea Jetamio felt the alien touch on her mind through Tajer. She sensed the Dark Elf's hesitation, her sense of vulnerability.
You are all that you were before, but for one thing...do not fear!
Tearing her thoughts away from the scene below she turned to Mujbura and the storm still hovering above them. "When that thing wakes up, unleash the storm upon it... the electricity will paralyze it. If you need more power, just touch me."
Then she knelt down, the Spirit of the Eagle keeping her hovering an inch or two above the water. She touched the water and sent a silent call to the Mother of All and Prexus and hoped for the best.

She let forth Tunares rage upon the Mage who simultaneously had released its own upon the group knocking her back. Long, brown hair swirls around her head covering her face and vision as her tiny body is forced backward through the murky water.
Half dazed with closed eyes the magicians words seep into the mind Tunare’s untainted child like hungry beasts devouring a fresh kill. The pain in her chest brings tears to her eyes that mix with the murky water, fragile purity blending with the evil surrounding them. Suddenly sad thoughts and memories of a love lost and the longing for any type of family connection are replaced with the promise of a future she had always thought to only be a dream. Her body relaxes into the warm comfort she had longed for within the magicians promises.

((Willanaome is on the surface still.))
P`Nala forces her will into the Magician's mind battling the power of the creature's illusory promises with her own mind aided by the power of the light of Truth from Gilliadson's blade.
Sineliniel swings her staff of primal elements toward Fluffy and strengthens his power. Fluffy continues his assault upon the Magician along with the host of Elementals summoned up by his Mistress.
Myrikel charges back at the Mage thrusting her fiery spear at it. Fiery blades appear and assist with her attack on the creature.
Far above on the surface, Willa keeps watch on the Mage's pet, ready to unleash the Wrath of Karana upon it when it awakens.

As Jetamios finger touched the murky water a trillion tiny plankton answered the prayers she had only just whispered. As beings of both Tunare and Prexus they answered the call faithfully yet what could they do? They first responded by illuminating their natural phosphorescence one by one. They lit up in many different hues and began to streach out before her. A trail had soon formed on the waters surface that led directly to and around the stunned sea monster. The minuscule plankton had been feeding on the goo which was quite harmless to them and now they stretched their collective towards the bottom and began to surround the magician also. tiny flickers of colored lights like a trillion stars swirled and meandered their way into the depths The magician paid them no heed.

The truth of Gilliadson’s blade unable to reach her in time, the Druidess’ lithe body lies in a relaxed willowy drape within the murky water. The magicians mind embraces her recent sorrows and uses them as its own tool. She smiles at the whispered false promises before her body jerks forward as the darkness snatches control during her weakest moment. It surrounds her mind, working with dark charm in diligent fervency to smother out the light within.
The once demure female eyes open and area filled with the eery glow of possession as her tiny form slowly coils into a make-shift thrall to serve the dark mage. The dark caster sends another call out to the party in an attempt to recruit more of them to its will. The other servants keep the party occupied while the mages inner strength focuses through Mujbura contorting and twisting natural magick into an obscenity of the natural order. With swift intellect the mage chooses searches her mind and chooses its target on that whom Mujbura had cherished most of the party. Viciously savage eyes lock on Stormfollower as she begins whispering a new incantation. As much as she loved him, was now as fiercely as she hated him.
Natural magicks of Tunare now blemished and poisoned with the darkness surround her hands. With a single word from the controller she grins her hands raise to release the combined force of contaminated nature towards Stormfollower.

P`Nala senses the Mage's intent and focuses her will upon Mujbura as she quickly casts the spell to put the Druidess to sleep for her own and the party's protection.
Willanaome releases the fury of the storm upon the Mage's pet as it begins to stir from it's enchanted slumber. Lightning strikes from the sky rendering the pet harmless as it is paralyzed. Willa issues a call to Karana and her staff is charged with lighting from another bolt before she dives below the surface to join the battle below.
Gilliadson thrusts his blade at the Mage's chest as Myrikel thrusts her spear toward it's midsection. Sineliniel summons another round of metal shards that fly toward the Mage with lightning speed.

The lightning strike born of the will of the druids of Tunare surged into the beast with all the energy of life itself. It destroyed the creature utterly. And it continued on..down into the plankton that had surrounded it. Grounded to the sea floor they suffered no damage. The magician was not so lucky. The bolt of high energy arced from the glowing plankton to the evil creature causing it to send out a shrill scream of agony. Its ilk, unaffected by the mesmerism of Pnala surged towards it even as it uttered its last summons. A hero of its race appeared in an instant. Twice the size of the magician and wielding a macabre trident made of the bones of many unfortunate land based humanoids, some still dripping with their salt water preserved flesh. It stood in defiant defense of its master directly between it and our two champions of light.

Gilliadson and Myrikel, undaunted by the appearance of the new foe, bring the powers of their holy weapons to bear against this new creature. Upon the demise of the Mage, Sineliniel's elemental Horde and Fluffy return to her for new orders. The Arch-Mage commands her minions to attack the new arrival. P`Nala quickly casts spells against the new creature to lower it's resistance to magical attacks and slow it's own attacks. Willa arrives on the scene, her staff crackling with the power of the storm.

Mujbura tosses the tainted powers towards Stormfollower just before P'Nala's spell stikes her mind sending the entranced elfs entire being into a silent slumber. The tiny Feir'Dal's body goes limp sinking downward into the dark abyss of the Mages realm.

Caught completely by surprise and still staggering from the sonic attack Stormfollower finds himself entangled in a bed of bull kelp, the harder he struggles the tighter it holds him and he too begins to sink out of sight into the abyss.
The magician spends its last breath in horrific pleading as the rest of his shark toothed kin descend and begin to feast on its charred flesh. His gurgling pleas are quickly stifled as the feeding becomes more frenzied.
The Icthian champion roars as he charges the two paladins, his trident creating turbulent cavitation throughout the waters all around him as he swings it with the grace of a monk. A thick black goo drips from the barb on the end of each point.

At first no-one noticed anything, all being too absorbed with the battle. Then slowly a sense of expectancy crept over the scene, a sense of something great coming towards them. It seemed that the very plankton stayed still and turned its attention outwards.
Then a distant song is heard, a whales song, answered by a nearer one. Out of the murky darkness an orca burst towards the strange champion, followed moment later by a small pack of sharks. Soon the ocean is filled with whale song and dolphin and the denizens of the sea come to Jetamio's call to purge their home of the darkness. The heroes are left untouched as the creatures around them rip the tainted beings to shreds.

Jetamio's words resounded in her mind, and while she felt comforted by the Druid's presence, she did not really understand what she meant. As far as she was concerned, she was mortal again with all that went with it. And she was not proficient enough in her new profession to be of much help magically.
She heard a sound in the distance, a strange haunting call but she did not recognise the whale's sound. She looked around frantically, wondering if anyone else heard and perhaps thought it was more danger. She narrowly missed being caught between Mujbura's possessed spell and Stormfollower, turning just in time to see him be hurled into the kelp and dragged down into the abyss.
Without thinking she dived down after him, tearing at the plant with her hands. The shaman seemed to be struggling to free himself, but her hands ripped through the strong kelp with little effort. Then it occurred to her... she had run as fast as before above the water, she swam as fast and true as she had before and she still had her strength and heightened senses. She still had her abilities, but she knew she was alive, even now she could hear her heart pounding in her chest, as well as Stormfollower's. But at what price had she kept them? She pushed the thoughts aside as she freed one of the few people she held genuine affection for, ripping the kelp to shreds and giving him a push upwards. There was still another down here, she could hear it.
Even her racial advantage to night vision did little to help her see in the murky darkness of the abyss...she could not see through solid matter. But the steady heartbeat lead her to the tiny elf floating around in the murk. Looping an arm around Mujbura's torso, she kicked upwards, propelling the two of them towards the surface. She was eager to get to land but did not want to give the tiny elf the bends by rising too fast so controlled her speed.
Finally she reached the dark volcanic sand of what was presumably the Isle of the Dead and brought her charge ashore. After making sure that Mujbura was out of immediate danger, she turned to face the first of the shipwrecks being washed upon the shore and watched out for any sign of the rest of the party.

As the sea creatures arrive and attack the Magician's Hero, Gilliadson and Myrikel back away and let the denizens of the ocean have their way with those who tried defile their home. Sineliniel moves to her husband's side to watch as the two creatures are ripped apart and devoured. P`Nala and Willanaome swim to the surface and join Tajer and Mujbura on the beach. P`Nala still holding some of the power from Gilliadson's blade within her uses it with her own to dispel the last bits of the Magician's lies in Mujbura's mind before bringing the Druidess awake.
Willa mutters a prayer of thanks to Karana and sends the thunderstorm away leaving a gentle rain falling upon the companions on the Isle to wash away the black ooze from their bodies and clothing. The ooze flows back into the seawater where the plankton are waiting to feast upon it.
