Another embarassed smile and she nods, "Yeah, you're right." She loved nature and it's creatures. Even though a Druid, she was more in-tune with nature than most. And to spend the night under the stars was rejuvenating for her. She wasn't sure where his home was, but for a Druid travel was pretty simple.
She laid back on the grass looking up at the stars, "There is little as beautiful as the stars." she whispered. Then, realizing, although he was an elf, he also was a Bard and perhaps not quite accustomed to a bed of grass. "Oh, I'm sorry." Her voice trickled into the air as she stood and smiled apologetically. "Perhaps we can find lodging?"

Mirthan smiled again a laid down on the grass beside her.
"Lodging is not really needed on such a beautiful night." The bard had spent many nights out under the open skies when he was younger sometimes even in the wolf form that Mistress Willa shared with him. "You may join me here if you wish." Mirthan patted the ground beside him gently.

She looked at the soft, grassy spot next to him with a bit of nervousness before nodding slowly setting her pack down. "I'm sorry." she spoke with her usual shyness. "I,,,, thought Bards accustomed to Inns, and such." She peeks over an apologetic smile, "I guess there really is always something to learn."
She settles on the grass beside him, though not too close to be considered intrusive. She glances over at him with another shy smile before laying back looking up into the skies. The stars made their patterns in the sky, diamonds laying atop a deep-purple, velvety window to the heavens.
She looked over at him a moment, his features of mixed heritage different than anyone she had met. She had seen the Ayr`Dal in her many journies, and within the human cities. But, she had never really spoken to one, there just didn’t seem to be many in her travels or a need to be in the cities much.
But there he lay, looking into the same heavens and she was fascinated. He was handsome, his eyes piercing and gentle at the same moment. A smile gently touched her lips as she remembered being relieved he didn’t turn into a horrible beast and she had to bite her lower lip softly to hold back a giggle that had nearly escaped.
Then she realized she had been staring and she quickly returned her gaze to the sky then closed her eyes praying he did not notice and said the first thing that came to mind. “I don’t think it will rain tonight, we should be fine.” Closing her eyes tighter she mentally kicked herself, this being one of those numerous moments she wished she was clever.

Mirthan smiled reassuringly as he looked over at her. He could hear her nervousness in her voice. The bard reached over and gently touched her hand.
"Rain or no rain matters not." Mirthan pulled a small box out of a pocket of his cloak and traced the rune on its top. A gentle and soothing melody played as he placed it on the ground beside him. The magic of the music always had varied effects depending on the person hearing it. It would provide whatever the hearer needed most at the time whether confidence or speed in battle or even just rest. Tonight the music gave him peace. She was here beside him and that made the night complete. Somehow in the music he could almost hear his grandmother's voice...

A shy smile was peeked over as she nodded. “You’re right, even the rain is a blessing.” She loved the rain. To her it seemed there was nothing more enjoyable than the feeling of the rain tickling your bare skin with tiny blessings of The Mothers Mother. For a moment she reminisced about the times she would lay naked in the forest during a summer rain, and even the stormy rains of spring. She smiled at how many people had told her she should be a worshipper of Karana due to her love of rain.
The soft chimes from the box brought her back to the moment and she rolled on to her side looking at the box. Her gaze moving to his with a bright smile of her appreciation of the items abilities. She dare not speak and interrupt the chiming, or he his enjoyment of it.
Looking into the sky, and then the exposed skin on her arm her gaze returned to the ornately carved box as a hint of the sound of rain began trickling into the mix with the soft chimes. She glanced at Mirthan smiling with curiosity then returned her attention back to the box.
Soft thunder in the distance, a gentle breeze and the sound of leaves flittering in the wind all began to join in the composition. All sounds subtle, yet beautiful in their presence. A muffled wolfs howl became more prominent, as if speaking directly to her soul and she felt her body warm, calm. Bending tree branches and small bugs clicks, flitters and buzzes joined in with flawless perfection. Trickling in came the remainder of Norrath’s creatures, even the elves with their elegant chorus. Each their own sound touching each note at the perfect moment.
As she listened to the orchestration of all of Norrath her body warmed, her heart felt such a beauty she had never felt before. Like the soft steps of a ballerina dancing to the music, faint memories danced through her mind. It was Norrath, her mother’s mother singing her own gentle lullaby as she did when Mujbura was a child. Misty eyes look up at Mirthan with a gentle smile, she was grateful beyond words.

Mirthan smiles as the gentle rain falls upon his face. He had slept through many a storm in the open under Mistress Willa's training. Even Maestro Tuneweaver had conducted some of Mirthan's training out in inclement weather. Mirthan watches Mujbura's face happily as the rain glistens upon her her face. It was not a hard enough rain to soak them uncomfortably but just enough to cool them off a little. Mirthan's sharp ears pick up the other sounds of nature around them and holds his arm out toward her invitingly.

Tears of joy joined the rain that trickled down her cheeks. For one moment, for this moment alone, she felt peace, calm, happiness. Something she had not felt in quite some time. Her journey's had become one's of reason lately, not just because she was following the breeze.
That's actually what happened when she ran into Stormfollower in Qeynos Hills. She was taking a moment to just follow the breeze, and it blew her to him. She enjoyed her times with her friends, and always attended their events and parties.
But her heart, and her home, was with The Mother's Mother. Where ever it was that Norrath would lead her, she always followed with a childlike curiosity and enjoyed the amazement with each lesson. But it had been long since she took the time to really listen to Norrath, and here it was all around her and in this tiny box that knew how to touch her very soul.
She looked up at Mirthan with a smile, hoping he wouldn't notice the tears and the sprinkling rain would camouflage them well enough. Her smile grew softly and she nodded slightly before extending out her hand reaching for his arm.

Mirthan pulls Mujbura close and wraps his arms around her, holding her gently in his arms. The bard places a gentle kiss on her forehead. No words are needed just the sounds of nature around them mixing in perfectly with the enchanting music of the box.
