by Jetamio
Jetamio had stood silently, watching the mage lie as though it was the easiest thing in the world, though she barely hid her confusion at being referred to by another name.
With the rogue refusing to answer anything, Jetamio began to get more and more agitated at being so close yet unable to get near the vampire. The mage suddenly stopped, touching his hand to his head as though in pain. Before she could ask what was wrong, Stormfollower suddenly threw his weight against Kalsari. The vampire lashed out in fury, ripping a gash in the net by sheer brute force, but Storms last thrust had the desired effect of hitting the rogues head against the floor.
The was sudden silence as the vampires struggles ceased, then a sigh of relief. Jetamio raced forwards to start pulling the net off Stormfollower, though being careful to keep Kalsari tangled.
The rogue herself did not move an inch. When Storm was free, Jetamio knelt beside the vampire, and pulled the net away from her head and face.
The Tier'Dal was very young by Elven standards, barely adult in physical maturity, at that age where one could appear either child or adult as they needed. Her long hair was jet black, and even tangled as she was, her hair was sleek and straight. Her skin was the colour of a winter twilight, though a shade lighter on one side of her neck where a huge sprawling scar spread from a little under her earlobe to the top of her colloar bone as though something had tried to rip her throat out. By the fact that the scar exisited, Jetamio knew she obtained the injury before she was Changed. She was a beautiful young woman despite her Curse, and unconcious as she was, looked almost innocent.
The Druid reached out to touch the girls cheek, still surprised at the coolness of her skin despite knowing it would be. The girl had fought her bindings for the better part of twenty minutes until she was al but exhausted, yet there was no warmth to her body at all, not even one drop of sweat. But even so Jetamio knew the Tier'Dal still 'lived' for her body was soft and relaxed, not stiff as it would have been if she were truly dead.
Keeping her eyes on the vampire in case she stirred, Jetamio spoke to her companions. "What now?"

Alsurin gazed at the unconscious vampire for a long moment and rose to his feet with a sigh of exasperation. "Well this is just brilliant...lovely..well now that we have successfully made things yet more complicated I would first suggest taking that necklace from her. After this, we will have to decide whether to simply leave her, or nail the girl to the riverbed with a wooden stake." The mage moved about the room with the rustle of soft cloth, damage to the floor and walls being reversed with a series sibilant words accompanied by a negligent gesture. "The first option has the somewhat obvious drawback of a rather miffed bloodsucker who might cause future irratations," he said, watching chairs and books right themselves with a critical eye. "Our second option does not have such a weakness...although there is a chance of emotional baggage of course. If you would retrieve the thrice cursed jewlery please Jetamio?"

"Emotional baggage?" she asked as she watched him right the room for a moment.
She turned her attention back to the vampire, slipping her hand a little down the the inside of the girls chainmail until she felt the golden chain of the necklace. She pulled it out and over the head of the Tier'Dal.
"Finally..." she whispered as she held the Dragonscale pendant in her hands and closed her eyes, murmuring something over it. The pendant began to glow, a softly golden mist seeming to form from it and working its way up the Druids arms. Within a moment the mist covered her completely yet she could still be seen cleary within the nimbus. The mist sank into her skin, at first leaving her skin with a glow but this too faded until Jetamio opened her eyes.
She looked over at Alsurin, her eyes no longer carrying the deep etheral fires, the strangeness about her not nearly so noticeable. She appeared as mortal as anyone else, whole and complete. She flashed him a smile.

Alsurin felt nor betrayed any surprise in the face of the otherworldly scene before him, observing the proceedings as if displays of otherworldly power were perfectly mudane. After a pregnant moment he returned the druid's smile with a cat-like grin of his own, sapphire eyes barring view of the whirring clockwork within the archmage's mind. "I see..."
The drakkin turned to gaze upon the unconscious Teir'dal, and sighed, the jaded guard upon his features seeming to fall away for a moment. "Alright, ..I know that the argument upon this matter has been thoroughly beaten to death but I must bring it up again... but what of this...girl..can we even allow her to live?"

"She died many days ago... "
Stormfollower blurts bruskly as he withdraws a long sharpened bone dagger of sorts. Its hilt heavily carved with intricate dark lines. He holds the point close to his elbow palming the hilt next to his hip.
"I brought the Wolf Fang to assure she stays that way now."
He then flings himself on the floor at Kalsaris head. Kneeling, he grabs her by the hair with his free hand and roughly hauls her up while his other swings back high above his head clutching firmly the long white point.

"How could she have gotten herself into this mess is beyond me.." Ven whispers to himself just outside the window... He had followed Kalsari to this place in hopes he might catch a glimpse of who might be hunting her and for what purpose.. Seeing her as a Fier'dal when she entered the Inn was quite amusing.. at least she is resourceful... he thought to himself. After a few minutes outside he searches his senses for her.. They being the only two sanguine in the immediate area made it easy to get a rough location on her.. Not wanting to enter the establishment where the stench of pales was stronger he made his way up to the roof with the grace and ease of a highly skilled assassin.. this was childs play to him but he had grown ..fond of his Apprentice as of late, although he wouldn't admit it. Upon reaching the apex of the roof he spied the pale as he slipped through the roof through some sort of magical portal. A comotion could be clearly heared below him .. Ven made his way to the edge and fliped over and lowered himself down to the window to get a better look at what was happening.. His crimson eyes flared as he peeked in just in time to see the earlier pale, a barbarian, had an unconscience Kalsari by her hair trying to haul her up for a killing blow. With no time to waste Vendayvian burst throught the window sending glass shards flying into the room to rain down upon those within.. Landing deftly he moves to the barbarian with the inhuman speed only an elder sanguine could accomplish. With one fluid motion he draws his blade, slashing out at the barbarians hand that had a hold on Kaslari.. Slicing his wrist, Vendayvian grins evilly as he felt it slice through the tendons there instantly forceing him to drop his hostage.. then launches a kick that he ment for the large humans head but fell short and landed squarely into his chest knocking him back more than a few paces.. His blood boiling now with anger and bloodlust Vendayvian turns from the momentarily incapacitated barbarian and picks up Kalsari, throwing her over his shoulder and stops at the window turning to face the others in the room.. his eyes glow with crimson fire .. the snarl on his face reveals his fangs fully extended ready to sink into flesh.. the air in the room suddenly grows cold.. shadows seem to appear from nothing.. A cold menacing power emenates from him as his eyes gaze into the others eyes one at a time marking them in his memory.. His voice dead calm... " Dos business with my Wanre is at and end.. Dos would do well to heed this as a warning or blood will flow.. This i swear.."

"Storm, no!"
Her voice was drowned out by the sound of glass shattering as a Tier'Dal male leapt through the window and attacked Stormfollower. She immediatly ran over to where he landed, crouching by his side as she glared savage fury at the male who now stood at the window with Kalsari draped over his shoulder.
"Perhaps the flow of blood will one day be your downfall." She hissed at him.

The soothing darknessbegan to fade as her body healed at an unnatural rate. What would have knocked a human out for hours only hindered her for minutes. She started to become vaguely aware of what was happening around her, before she was roughly hauled to her feet by her hair. The darkness spun around her loosing focus again, but then strong arms grabbed her and lifted her. She recognised his scent and while not the one she had called for, he was just as welcome. She senses movement as he carries her to the window, and hears their words, the deadly calm of Vendayvian and the angry hiss of the strange Fier'Dal. She manages to open her eyes, but the sudden light hurts her eyes, causing her to groan.

Having recovered his wits from the barrage of rapidly unfolding events, none of which seeming to have any respect for his carefully laid plans, the mage turned to the arrogant vampire and narrowed his eyes. A whisper brought mana surging to his fingertips, its burning song nearly drowning out thought itself. "It would seem blood has already flowed sanguine," he said, taking a step forward. "Now, have you come to threaten like a village drunk or run? Perhaps I shall decide for you!"
The magus closed his eyes and let a call ring within the halls of the righteous dead, offering them another chance to strike those blows that had eluded them in life. He spoke silent word and gestured, bringing his power to bear upon the veil between worlds. With a sound of arrows whistling though silk, searing blades of dark steel came into being before his outstretched hand and sped towards the vampires like a flock of bloodthirsty ravens.

~ Senseing the mage drawing magic to him, Ven, still standing at the window shrugs Kalsari off his shoulder and lets her fall out the window to safety fearing the spell may do more damage to her than the harmless fall.. Vendayvian grins wickedly as he feels the sting of the magical blades as the try to rend him to pieces.. The pain passes almost as quickly as it begain.. Laughing evilly Ven's calm voice can be heard clearly unshaken.. ~
" Dos decides nothing mage.. and as I said, tis a warning.. " ~ Nods to the wounded barbarian..~ " there has been nau blood shed here..nauthing a half compentent priest cannaut heal.." ~ tosses the Mage a small pouch of platinum coins with a feral grin..~ for which i am happy to compensate for thier sevices.. but if dos truely wishes to see blood flow then please..press this issue further. Dos has been warned a second time.. there will naut be a third.. Now I shall take my leave. Do naut feel bad.. it was a admirable try." ~ Laughs loudly as he steps into shadows.. his crimson eyes fade into the shadows and disappears.. the room temperature returns to normal and the room brightens as the darkness fades.. a quick look out the window shows that Kalsari is no where to be seen.. Vanashed as well..~

She cursed her luck again as she neared the small inn filled with the light lovers as she came to the top of the hill one more time. It had been a tireing night and an even more tireing day and still the griphon she was looking for eluded her. She had searched for hours on end and had passed this place four times now knowing that most likely the beast would not come this close to the establishment with there armed guards. Every time she had passed the place had been quiet and she had looked for the beast and moved on and she almost did this time as well. But something on the roof of the inn caught her eye. Casting a vision spell she looked closer and her jaw lowered. Her senger Vendavian was gliding across the roof like a ghost lowering to a window and sliding into silent shadows. She then watched the next events and her curiosity turned to rage as she saw him return with Kalsari over his shoulder wrapped in some kind of net. Her first thought was what kind of a net could hold even a young sanguine. That thought was lost as she saw her drop to the ground and a spell of blades attacked the one her heart hunted.
Her lips curled back into a feral growl.
"That is no wizard spell."
She summoned her staff and shield to her and drew all of her defensive spells around her cracking her staff butt on the ground leaving a sizeable burn mark. She casts herself into invisability and strides forward to get into closer range if her senger should need her. What she believed would be a mage would be her first target and he would pay the price for attacking her fuma.

Alsurin spat a curse in the eerie departure's wake and moved back to his companions with a noticeably chastised expression. At the conjurer’s unspoken command, the earthen elemental shifted from its silent vigil with a chorus of grating stone to find a new place in front of the window.
"It would seem things have gone somewhat....awry."

"Nay friend!"
Stormfollower grins from his position leaning comfotably against Jetamio.
"That couldst not have manifested any finer."
He looks over his shoulder at Jetamio still smiling confidently.
"Unless of course she changes her cloak any time soon. But it seamed to be of fasion. Wouldst thow not say my love?"
He starts to chuckles, slowly at first and then with great fits of raucous laughter he leaps to his feet.

Jetamio watched the empty space by the window for a moment as she absentmindedly healed Stormfollowers wrist. But his words about her cloak broke her gaze as she looked between them.
"What have you done to her cloak?"

"A spirit now inhabits it and shows me allour little vampire sees and hears. Even now I am witnessing the re-union of these two bloodsuckers." He laughs. " And now that we have seen who pulls her strings, Kalsari has been of utmost help to us ... far more than if I had killed her. They have bared thier teeth at us and now leave thier blood-dry necks exposed."
