The Matron's Choice

[Zotreth Myurden]

Zotreth stands before the door, curious as to what kind of figure this D'Narr might be. Knowing very little, if anything about her, he racks his knuckles across the door, still thinking.

[D`Nar Vel`Dynn]

The door swings open revealing a skeletal figure which crumbles to dust. In the middle of the room a female figure sits cross-legged on the floor with her back to the door. Several racks holding weapons and shields of various sorts can be seen along the walls of the room along with several training devices.

Giving a sly smile, Zotreth steps into the room. His white eyes pierce into the back of the female who sits in the middle of the room. He chances a glance around the room to take notice of the various assortment of weapons and training tools, then returns his gaze onto the female figure.

"Hail... I am Zotreth, are you the one named D'Narr?" he says, giving a continuous sly smile.

The Lady Knight slowly and gracefully rises to her feet, still facing away from the doorway and her Katana pointing toward the floor at a slight angle away from her side. The black blade seems to absorb all light around it and some of the souls of it's victims of ages passed glide around it momentarily before they are hungrily sucked back inside the blade.

"I am she." D`Narr replies, her voice softer and smoother than most females of Neriak. "You are Zotreth."

The Pain Mistress slowly turns around allowing him time to examine the exquisite well-toned curves of her body.

Zotreth looks upon her body and nods. The his gaze drifts on to that of the Katana and he watches as it drains the light around it.

"It is a pleasure to finally be able to meet you." He says and then looks her in the eye.

D`Narr smiles slightly as her eyes lock with Zotreth's

"We shall see about the pleasure part soon enough." D`Narr walks over to a stand near the wall and places her blade on it. The spirits surrounding it are absorbed back into it in silence. D`Narr walks to another area and selects a normal katana and swings it around a little testing its balance. "Nothing like a good sparring session to get the blood flowing. You may change into a suitable outfit behind the screen to your left and if you would like to use a rather ordinary blade there are many in here to choose from that we use to practice with."

The Lady Knight kneels on the floor as she awaits Zotreth's preparations.

Zotreth nods and smiles while wondering how well of a fighter she might be. "If she is good with a blade, then it might give the child a better chance of being a natural combatant." he thought to himself. Then the Knight steps behind the screen and flips a token that he carried in his pocket. A magic bag appears and he puts on a leather tunic and pants.

After he is changed, he places the old clothes into the bag and searches around the room until he comes across a suitable longsword. Testing it's balance he steps toward D'Narr and bows.

"Whenever you are ready my lady." he says and points his sword diagonally toward the ground, a defensive stance used mostly by Iksar Knights.

D`Narr grins as she returns the bow keeping her eyes locked on his. Fast as lightning D`Narr's blade comes up as she feints a thrust toward her opponents abdomen and then quickly shifts it to a slice toward his chest.

Moving the sword upward, Zotreth manages to place his weapon in front of D'Narr's. He then jumps backward a bit and slices upward, using only his sword hand. He curls his off-hand into a fist as he watches D'Narr.

The Lady Knight smiles.
"Nice move, good form."
D`Narr assumes a defensive stance and gestures for Zotreth to try his best.

[Zotreth Myurden]

Zotreth steps forward with his right foot, his left foot behind him. Quickly, he moves closer and attempts to unterhau with his primary hand. Still swinging, the Knight bends his knees to be closer to the ground, while maintaining a distance of three feet from D'Narr.

The sword comes at her sharply, and he places his off hand flat on the ground.

D`Narr quickly jumps to the side, dodging the blade. Her blade quickly slices downward toward the back of Zotreth's unprotected neck stopping just as the blade touches his skin.

"Very nice move but you left me an opening. Still, I have seen very few males move with that kind of grace and precision."

D`Narr slowly walks around Zotreth, taking in his form and admiring his musculature.

"Would you like another round or would you prefer some non-combative exercises?"

Embarrassed, Zotreth smiles and stands.

"The latter... I do believe that I have been bested in this exercise. What is it that you wish to do?" he says.

[D`Nar Vel`Dynn]

"Perhaps a hunt would be more to your liking?" D`Narr smiles slightly. "We have several Halfling prisoners that were recently captured in Nektulos when they tried to ambush one of my sisters. We have already garnered all of the information from them that we need to wipe out the rest of their troop. As is our custom, we let prisoners go that can survive a hunt with us." The Lady Knight grins wickedly. "None have survived as yet. I can have a couple of them prepared."
