((This is a side trip from Teenage Infatuataion. Takes place following Jetamio's revelations. Had to be put forth prior to the Lifebonding which is Saturday.))
The golden-haired Koada`Dal scans the list of preparations with her sapphire eyes. Cake is ready, Flowers gathered, Garter is made, Blessings received from Mother, Aunt Marial, King Thex and Lady Verlaine. Lady Verlaine explained to her that he must be tested still and that Sineliniel was the only one that could administer this test.
This is the night I must tempt my love. As much as I want him, I do hope he denies me this night. It must be an honest test. I cannot do this half-heartedly. Please, Blessed Mother, grant me the wisdom to know when to stop the test.
The Elementalist checked herself in the mirror and saw no flaws in her appearance. Her Beloved would be home soon and since another was borrowing her room this night she would be sharing the room with Gilliadson. It was starting to storm outside.
Looks like Lady Verlaine has provided some assistance.

The Knight had ridden out to Qeynos Hills to set his mind in order after the revelations that Jetamio had given them. Sineliniel said that she needed to make a few more preparations to her gown so he left her at the house. This gown should be quite spectacular with all the work his Leofa had been putting into it. Sineliniel was normally quite an affectionate person but for some reason, today she had seemed even more so. Perhaps it was the approacing ceremony that was having that affect on her. Zeph had been cured but was still fast asleep in the Koada`Dal's room. Gilliadson stopped at the lake and did some fishing but with little success. Evening was approaching and the Knight of Truth could smell the approaching storm. Thoughts of Willa came to his mind. He remembered seeing her off in the distance one day dancing naked in a storm. Willa was a child of the Storm God, Karana and that was how she communed with him. To each their own. Gilliadson packed his fishing gear and mounted his steed. The storm was fast approaching. The knight gently kicked the sides of his mount and she took off like lightning for Surefall Glade. Gilliadson loved this horse. There were none faster in all of Norrath. Gilliadson arrived at the house took his steed to the stable. As he walked back to the house, the rain started. The knight was drenched as he walked through the door.

The Koada`Dal heard her Leofa's steed approach the house moments before the deluge came. Sineliniel grabbed a few drying cloths and summoned a small fireball as she walked quickly down the stairs. The Elementalist threw the fireball into the fireplace with perfect aim. Sineliniel was standing by the door when her drenched knight walked in and she handed him the cloths.
"Sit by the fire my love and dry off. I will have some dry clothes for you to change into in a few moments." Said Sineliniel.

Gilliadson sat by the fire and dried himself off as best as he could with the cloths. Sineliniel returned to him shortly with a change of clothing. The knight went into the downstairs washroom and changed clothing. Gilliadson exited the washroom and into the arms of his Leofa. Sineliniel laid her head on his shoulder and whispered into his ear.
"Vi khess dos."
"I love you too." Gilliadson responded. "I am tired from the ride and really need to rest. Tomorrow you must be away from me for the day for your final preparations and I must spend my day in prayer at the temple. I take it Zeph is still resting peacefully in your room."
"Yes he is."
"It is well. Let him rest. Come Leofa, Let us retire. Goodnight my friends, See you at the Ceremony in two days." The Knight waved all in the room and went upstairs.
The storm put the Paladin to sleep quickly, having been heavily influenced by a Karana Druidess during his early circles made him at peace even during the worst of storms.

The Elementalist could not sleep. She stared at her beloved's face from her bed. The lighting and thunder of the storm made her jump from time to time. The Koada`Dal arose and slipped into the knight's bed and lay next to him. Slowly Gilliadson opened his eyes and saw his beautiful bride-to-be laying next to him.
"What is wrong my love?" He asked her
"Please hold me." She replied. The knight put his arms around her and pulled her close to him. He could feel the curves of her body against his as their lips met. Sineliniel held the Human close and began kissing him passionately. She gently ran her fingertips down the middle of his back.
Gilliadson started getting passionate feelings as they went deeper into the passion of the moment. Sineliniel was about to remove her gown when Gilliadson stopped her.
"Please understand, Leofa, I cannot do this with you just yet. Two more days and I am yours, body, mind and soul. It is not my family's custom to go beyond this point until we are bonded. I love you more than anything else in this world and for now you have me, mind and soul but my body must remain my own until we are joined."
Even though Sineliniel knew that he need to pass this test, which he just did. The rejection still hurt her. The maiden got out of the bed and went to her robe. Sineliniel retrieved the small coin from the pocket and returned to the bed. The Koada`Dal took her beloved's hand with tears in her eyes.
"Take this to your grandmother when this storm has passed and know this, that on our bonding night, you are mine and the first one that interrupts will find a very hot fireball to sit on." Sineliniel smiled through her tears and threw her arms around Gilliadson and kissed him. "I love you more than my own life. Wherever you lead, I will follow."

The knight looked at the small coin and knew immediately what it was. Apparently it was his grandmother's plan that the Family honor be restored with her grandson. There were only a few obstacles in the way though. Lucan D'Lere must be sent to justice, Shadowbane land must be restored to the family and the sword of Vladimiri must be retrieved from Willanaome's Library. Then Gilliadson must also sire an heir.
Gilliadson looked deeply into Sineliniel's teary eyes before they kissed again. He would do all within his power to keep those eyes from looking sad again. The storm let up shortly afterward so Gilliadson walked to Lady Verlaine's home and gave her the Token of Virtue.
"Well done my grandson!" Said the Druid leader. "You are now worthy to restore the Shadowbane Knights once you have completed the rest of the tasks that must be done. Restore the Land and Honor of our family. I know you can do it and you will have a very devoted wife to help you."
"Thank you, Grandmother." Gilliadson embraced Verlaine and kissed her.
Gilliadson returned to his room at the house and made preparations for his day of prayer in the temple.
