*Raps hard on the gate outside the Alliance's Keep* HEEELLOOOO IN THERE!!

*Not hearing anyone answer, takes a parchment and begins to write*

I am Ceotak, Master of the Elements. I have come to your Hall seeking admittence. I am without a home (guildless) and hear tales of the Candle Alliance's fight against the Shadows. I wish to join in this fight and seek shelter under your roof. I shall be staying at the local Inn down the road an await word of what steps I must take.

Ceotak

*wraps the parchment around a rock. Secures it with a summoned bandage and gives it a toss over the wall*

Late the next evening, a dust cloud approached the inn, a bard with a beating drum at its head.

"Master Ceotak"? He asked politely, and at the mage's nod, handed over a parchment before bowing and accelerating off towards the horizon for his next delivery.

Greetings Master Ceotak. Please pardon my delay in responding, but your note was actually left at a Qeynosian guard tower while the guards were out on patrol.

The Candle Alliance has no keep, no fortress, no place where our enemies can come seek and strike at us, but we meet frequently at different places throughout Norrath; as often a druid circle in the wilderness as the Lion's Mane Inn or other city establishment. Many of us can often be found however in Surefall Glade, as the druids there have given us shelter on more than one occasion.

Please be welcome as a friend and ally of equals spanning races and continents and cities of Norrath, united by common cause if differing means and professions. I hope we may be able to meet in person towards the near future. In the meantime, I expect you may receive a welcome from any number of the Alliance.

May the gods grant you good fortune until then, Master Ceotak.

Yours, Licinia of Qeynos.

*shakes her head at the loud noise that disturbs a long sleep, opening one eye, grins the grin of one spotting an old friend, her heart leaping*

*smiles to herself, as she returns to her dreams of the path of light... Ceotak, nodding Ceotak, it seems after all that all that is good in this world finds its way to this home*

*beams a smile*
