*giggles* Funny you would post this, as I'm working on one of Sanjah at the moment. Of course, I've been "working" on it for four days now, and there's only a bit of skin, an outline for hair and one eyeball finished. *laughs*

What did you use to paint it? Photoshop? Painter? Did you draw it in the program or did you sketch it first and then scan?

It's really good though! I like it a lot!

I used Photoshop Elements. Did a rough outline on paper first, scanned it in, then coloured it in Photoshop.

I'm meaning to do one of Jet or Delsari soon (or both together maybe), but I need to do it all in one go or I lose interest spreading it out over days

I thought about doing one of the three of us, since we're the awesome Drakkin girls *laughs* But I'll need a decent screenshot of both Delsari and Jetamio - at least their faces anyway, so that I can mimic the horn patterns and tattoos properly.

That's going to be the hardest part of Sanjah, I think. But I'm trying not to worry about it too much until I get that far. *giggles*

It usually takes me weeks to complete a digital painting, but I'm a perfectionist by all accounts. So I'll sit and stare at it for hours, and make good use of the 'undo' button before I'm happy enough to move on to the next part.

I've redone Sanjah's eye six times in the past couple days and I'm still not happy enough with it. >.> Getting the Red/Orange/Amber colours to blend together in a realistic manner is amazingly difficult. Why didn't I decide to give her normal eyes? lol.

It's not the tattoos that will cause me difficulty, its making the scaled effect. I didn't realise just how detailed the Drakkin are til I got a new moniter with higher resolution and suddenly I see they are scaled nearly all over

Oh yeah. The scales. I forgot about those damned things. lol!

I wish there was a way to get a really good close up screenshot, but I haven't mastered the cameras yet to figure it out.

Of course, maybe if the three of us get screenshots of each other, instead of trying to get them of ourselves - we'll be able to get closer and be able to see more detail. hmmm...

Anyway, I'm about to login now that the patch is finished.

I can get good screenshots cos I box, I just take pics with the other toon hehe.
