"Hmph" She glared at the other Tier'Dal, but grudgingly awaited the Paladins idea..afterall, she didn't have to go along with it.

"Well I was thinking that since she likes to hunt Sanguine... I am sure your house has some rival houses... Like I have stated... One thing knights have in common is their value on their personal honor. If she gives her word as a knight she will be bound to keep it. If she would restrict her hunting to members of your rival houses, I can see how that would benefit yours. If she is as good as her reputation, it would be a shame to waste such good talent by killing her. If she will not agree to these conditions then she can go to Felwithe to be tried there which will ultimately lead to her demise.

"This Shadowbane is quite the shrewd one." The Shadow Knight thought to herself. "He pretty much has me where he wants me."

Fluffy deposited the Teir`Dal in a chair and hovered nearby. D`Nar knew that she would not be able to get passed him to get to her weapons or to escape so she resigned herself to await the decision of her fate. The trip to Felwithe may offer some opportunities for escape or they may not. They would have to avoid New Tanaan since it was truly a neutral city and any magical binding they put on her would be dispelled upon arrival there. But the idea Shadowbane had did appeal to her somwhat. She would have to give up her dream of taking down Mogadeche but as long as she was still able to hunt perhaps maybe the Ilharns from some of the other Houses, it was a small price to pay.

D`Nar coldly stared at the young rogue, awaiting her word...

The old wizard still had his sight bound inside the small room in Emerald Jungle. As soon as he was able, he bound his sight to the Elemental companion of the Koada`Dal. He knew not to interfere with his Mistress' plans but he was not going to watch her die either. Carefully he made adjustments to his portal spell and prepared to open it beside D`Nar. His hand still felt like it was on fire but he ignored the pain while he got his spell ready. If any of them made a sudden move toward Lady Vel`Dynn, he would be able to pull her through the portal before any harm could come to her. But for now he watched to see if she could get her own self out of her predicament.

She sighs. "We are Tier'Dal, while there might be some rivalry we are still One, Children of the Father. She," she almost spat the word, "is a traitor to her people, and I will not condone allowing her to hunt any of them. Do what you will with her, but if she comes anywhere near me or my House again I will kill her." She glared savagely at the ShadowKnight then walke to the door, turning before she got to it again.

"Now if you will excuse me, I have some babies to eat and virgins to sacrifice." Her tone was sarcastic, and with a curt nod at the Paladin she vanished into the shadows without another word.

"Well then... What shall we do with you?" Gilliadson said to the Teir`Dal. "So she considers you a traitor to your own people but I have it that you hunt with the blessing of the Queen. You must therefore be considered a traitor to the King... Give me your solemn word that you will stay away from my friends and my family and you are free to go. I will give you your fight one day but it will not be this one. As for Kalsari and her house... you heard her warning... I will not meddle in the internal affairs of Neriak. We will drop your weapons off in New Tanaan where you may retrieve them at the inn."

"So shall it be as you demand." D`Nar started. "I will no longer hunt you and nor will I seek to force your hand by threatening those close to you. My personal honor as far as it concerned you was satisfied when I saw you die because of my actions. So the higher powers decided to send you back. That is of no consequence to me. But mark my words, Knight, that weakness of mercy that you have will one day be your downfall, though not by my hand." With that the Teir`Dal rose from the chair and strode out of the building. Once outside, D`Nar drew her cloak about her and disappeared.

The Paladin gathered up the Shadow Knight's katana and bow and stored them in his pack.

Gilliadson held his wife for a few moments.

"Let us go home, Leofa, I have some news for your ears only."
