Character Description Thread

I thought it might be a good idea to have a place where we can all refer to easily for descriptions of peoples characters, especially those of us with multiple characters.
This is not intended to be a character history thread, simply a basic information thread, such as what they look like and their basic personality. A short background information is fine, but if you want to write a novel, make a new thread

Please use a separate post for each character to keep things simple, and have their name at the top in bold writing.

Jetamio, known mostly by the common translation of her name, but a few know her name in Elvish, Altariel.

Jetamio is a Fier'Dal, her features a little less refined than most elves due to her mother being Half Elf, but she is no less pleasing to lay eyes on. Her eyes are gold in colour, and her long red hair is often worn loose and untamed. She is of average height for her people, slightly stockier than most but not unattractively so.

She is by nature quite wild, and increasingly so as she gets older. While among people she can be friendly and even playful, but she usually prefers to be alone or with her husband Stormfollower. Often when they are alone she will turn them both into wolves and run free under the stars.

An incident in her old House made her aware of the power held in her blood, and delving further into matters concerning it she found out much about who she really is. Despite her ability to cure the Sanguine affliction, she does not advertise the fact for fear of bringing unwanted attentention to her friends and allies.

Gilliadson Shadowbane

Gilliadson is a muscular Human with brown hair and light blue eyes. Normally clad in Crimson and Silver Armor. Gilliadson is the Son of Gillad and Alani Shadowbane of the Commonlands. Both parents are now deceased.

Gilliadson devotes his life to freeing the tormented souls that wander Norrath in the form of the Undead and to ridding Norrath of the forces of Discord.

Sineliniel Shadowbane formerly Eledhwen

Sineliniel is a Koada`Dal female with golden blonde hair and sapphire blue eyes. She is usually clad in a Sapphire colored robe and gown.

To any that do not know her, she may seem a little imbalanced partly because of calling her Elemental Companion Fluffy.

Sineliniel was not raised quite in the traditional Koada`Dal ways but more in line with the newer movement that puts Koada`Dal on the same level as the rest of the Light Races rather than being above them all.

Sineliniel has four children by Gilliadson, Myrikel, the Twins Darthan and Lillyth and now Mirthan. She resides in The Commonlands at the restored Shadowbane estate, Gill-Alani.

[Nasorin]

Nasorin Avaerst

Nasorin... well, he's certainly my main, and until recently (with the additional two slots on FV) was the only character I owned on Firiona. Regardless of what character I'm on, though, I check Nas's EQ-mail.

He is a sage-robed Erudite usually found mounted atop a white mare. His minute pet is transparent and generally hidden.

Nasorin is a neutrally-aligned mass of contradicting ironies with a pretty respectable fortune due to some very good luck in the past, which he attempts to pass on in what way seems best at the time. He is a bachelor and flirts more than is necessary (or wise) in many situations, though refuses to settle down. He, like me, is brutally honest and will not hesitate to say what he really feels. He has no qualms about being referred to as a mercenary (especially if you take note of my near-obsession with clickies) though has some very abnormal tendencies for someone associated with being so monetarily-oriented. Very reminiscent, Nas will often be found in obsolete places either helping newbies that actually work for what they have or simply relaxing.

[Rakana]

Rakana Shadowscale

Rakana is a relatively young Iksaress necromancer in her middle twenties. She's a good head or so taller than a majority of her species, and is considered somewhat beautiful among her fellows. She's fond of the traditional face-paints given to females of her kind, but often changes the particular pattern on an almost daily basis. She has several scars from an encounter with a violent Tier'dal Priestess, the worst of which reside on her pelvis and along her mid to lower back. Her scales are a shiny green color for the most part, but stress and a genetic disposition to dulling has started to dull the color of the scales along her shoulders and neck.

Though while traveling she often wears enchanted robes of her calling, among friends she prefers to stick to the wrap favored by many of the monks of Cabilis. She's somewhat vain, and enjoys being looked at by others of just about any species (though she'd never admit it).

Personality wise, Rakana is very humble. A long stint as a monk has given her the discipline not to taunt her enemies and keep her emotions in check, and the Necromancer's guild gave her plenty of lessons on being respectful to others in order to stay alive. She's also very straightforward. Unlike some of her calling, she does what she says and means what she does. If she says she'll protect you, she'll do so with her life. If she says she'll kill you, she'll hunt you to the ends of Norrath.

Like many young Cabilisians, she's unhappy with the current Emperor. She thinks that the Emperor is leading her country down a path of destruction. She's very nationalistic, and above all, wants the best for her country. Unlike many older Iksar, she thinks this will come with making ties with the 'softskin' races. She has no true prejudices against other races or religions, mainly due to spending quite some time among humans, with the exception of followers of Innoruk. She considers their views self-destructive and infectious. Her biggest goal in life is to either influence the Emperor of Cabilis into returning the Iksar nation to its former glory, or take control of the Empire herself.

[Elianeth]

Elianeth Gladesparkle

The tall, blue-eyed, fair-haired, blue-robbed (often) raw-boned Koada'Dal woman is often seen with a much battered, stained, cloth doll in her lap, and cookies in her hands.

Servant of the Mother of All, entitled by Her to be adressed as Prophetess - to the eternal dismay of Elder Yeolam Bronzeleaf, High Priest of Felwithe, with whom much bad blood seems to have been shed in the past century, Elianeth is fiercely devoted, heart and soul, to her duties as a Priestess, spreading kindness and blessings in the realms too many a young soul, rather than healing large adventuring parties on battlefields.

As such, she is mothering her Siblings of the Clan and the Sisters alike.

Though intently disliking those, her blue armour shows many a sign of having through intense battles, and the few times when worn, seem to be like a second skin to her.

Her delicate hands, skilled at creating and shaping much, are hardened by a century of smithing strong metals as was a wielding clubs of all sizes and shapes.

Many a time, when stroking her doll, her eyes grow distant, stargazing at the infinite possibilities the future has in store - or at the long lost past, maybe ?

Willanaome Bramblerose

Mistress Willa as she is called by her students and underlings or Willa by her friends is the second incarnation of this very bright and cheery Druidess of Karana. Willa was sent back to Norrath by Karana to assist in the restoration of the Shadowbane Lands and Estate.

In her current life she is a young, platinum-haired, green-eyeed, female Halfling. She is considered quite lovely by Halfling standards, sometimes mistaken for a very short Dal. Willa is the Loremistress of Gill-Alani. Her love of History and reading began during her first lifetime and has not diminished.

She is known for her involuntary Tushy Wiggle that occurs whenever she is excited (which is actually quite easy to do).

Willa likes simple things, like dancing naked in the rain, picnicing on a nice sunny day or just sitting with her students and giving lessons in Norrathian Lore. Her devotion to the Shadowbane family is second only to her devotion to Karana.

[Xar'Zith]

Xar'zith Maral

Xar'zith is slightly taller than the average Tier'Dal. Her skin is twilight blue, her eyes pale but piercing blue. Her hair is long and pure white, usually worn down. She looks young like all elvenkind but she never has revealed her true age. She is incredibly beautiful, having had men fight over her before despite her lack of interest in any of them. She has been known to kill the victor just to prove the point that she is not a prize to be won.

For the longest time she has been cold and aloof, unapproachable by most. Those who did dare speak to her where often stared down by her icey gaze. Her humour was dry, and many did not know how to take her. But recently she has changed, finding love in an unexpected place, melting her heart which had been frozen by the loss of those she loved. She smiles more and laughs easier, making a more concious effort to be more civilised to people.

Xar'zith came into the world named Anaka, a Firstborn Tier'Dal (a first generation daughter of the King and Queen of Neriak). Having no magical ability she was often overlooked, and later cast out of the Palace for marrying the half breed Jetam (Jetamio's first son) and giving him a child, Tajer. Jetam perished in the blast in Nektulos after the battle between Lanys and Firiona Vie, and Anaka barely survived.
By the time she came round, she found that her daughter had been taken to the Temple to be raised and she had been returned to the palace to face her parents wrath. After weeks of torture for her disobediance, even being the test subject of her older brothers wizardry which lead to her frosty aura, she was finally released when she agreed to work for her father. He had her trained as an Assassin and she served for a long time before finally being allowed her freedom again. To give her a clean slate, she was renamed Xar'zith Maral, or Ice Storm in the common tongue and all mention of Anaka was forbidden.

Sickened by the constant Hate around her, she left Neriak in search of something more, spending time with the Wolf Cult and even a short stint in a Dark Elven house trying to find her place in the world. It was there that she met another whom she could love, and he left to follow her when she did to form her own House.
Xar'zith follows no God, instead more concerned with the fate of Norrath as a whole.

Kattana Kiki

(Played by Jet)

Kattana is a tall Vah Shir Shaman, decended of the great white tigers of the North. Her fur is snowy white with black stripes, and is thick and slightly coarse to the touch. She is obviously equipped to deal with the cold. Her eyes are steel grey.

She is quiet by nature, much more reserved than her sleek black cousin Zhaan. She is warm with it though, always happy to cast her blessings upon her friends.

Kattana has never lived in Shar Vahl, she was born in Cresent Reach and found by Xar'zith as a youngster. The Assassin raised her and helped guide her as best she could for one not magically inclined, and Kattana developed a fierced loyalty to her, and she will follow Xar'zith wherever she goes.

[Licinia DuQeynos]

Licinia is a moderately attractive human woman with a piercing blue gaze. She is now approximately 40 years of age, and has a few lines of silver in otherwise ordinary brown hair due to the stresses of her lifestyle. Of course, having mastered illusion, she can take on whatever appearance she pleases indefinitely, even to the point of limited shape-change and abilities. She is well-muscled, having trained herself in arms and personal combat, despite her profession as an enchantress. While capable, she is not numbered amongst the great enchanters of Norrath. Her effectiveness is more from her influence and reputation than any power she personally wields.

Licinia has a gift for languages and can speak virtually all known Norrathian toungues fluently, idiomatically, and without accent, although her draconian sounds different from the current norm (she learned the dragon speech from Iksar long before Drakkin began appearing in Norrath). She is well-familiar with all cities that fall within Qeynos' sphere of interest, including Halas, Paineel, Erudin, Neriak, and Cabilis. She has conducted secret negotiations on behalf of the Bayles (both of them!) with factions in Neriak, and still maintains both an official and undercover presence in the Tier'dal city as suits her dual roles of envoy and spy. In Cabilis, she is accredited as an acceptable softskin envoy amongst the Iksar. She regrets the decline of Qeynos in Norrathian affairs, but is resigned to it.

Licinia's most valued possession is the Badge of Nobility granted to her by King Antonious Bayle IV for her long service as an Investigator and her actions in saving the village of Jaggedpine from a gnoll invasion.

Licinia's mother and sister died of the Bloodsaber plague. Her father, she discovered later, had been a corrupt guard lieutenant who was murdered by an unknown party to prevent him from naming any co-conspirators. Licinia herself is absolutely loyal to Qeynos and its citizens, and is quite capable of being utterly ruthless to protect either. Although nominally a follower of Karana, she has in the angry past even knowingly flirted with the tenets of the Prince of Hate. However, the company of longtime friends such as Elianeth and Stormfollower have oriented her towards a more benevolent style in the past decade. Licinia feels a strong attachment to the citizens living in the Karana plains, particularly the Miller family. She often patrols the plains to the edge of the Kingdom, much to the detriment of the bandits who are attempting to rob and plunder the isolated farms and travelers.

Licinia hates the Sanguine, for reasons that are far more personal than professional. She is a seething nemesis and opponent to Mogadeche, Ilharn of Dalharen d`Phlith, opposing him via indirect means wherever possible. Inexplicably, she decided to take on the non-Sanguine Tamaii, Mogadeche's daughter, as a student and protegé in years past, and still maintains an protective interest in the Tier'dal magician's well-being to this day.

[Stormfollower]

Stormfollower
Stormfollower looks like a shaman in all respects and would be considered ruggedly hansome (easily being mistaken for a fighting class when not in his ancient shamanic attire) were it not for his right eye being clouded over with cataract.
His passionate personality makes him seam fanatical at times. He stubornly adhears to the ancient honour bound traditions of his issolate, martial, northern tribe making him dissagreeable in many spheres of moral conversation. His overall demeanor would be regarded as very happy otherwise.
His wife Jetamio and thier 4 children are his chief concern, second is his Leadership of the nomadic guild Wolf Cult. He is othewise unaturally obsessed with his ideals of freeing the world of evil influences and preserving the balance of nature. He will be unwilling to harm animals in many situations and may even leave an effort for this reason without explaination.

Jetamio's Children

Seeing as they have been mentioned in various threads, and I'm bored right now, figured I'd explain a bit.

Jetam

Jetamio's eldest child, a son born to a Tier'Dal enchanter Edeamus. The equivilant of a Human teenage pregnancy, she did not have the means to look after a child so obviously Dark Elf looking so she left him in Neriak to be raised.

Jetam is average height for his race, and his appearance is pretty much full Dark Elf. The only feature inherited from his mother is her signature gold eyes. He grew up to be a Priest, meeting Xar'zith (who was known as Anaka at the time) when he healed her wounds. Their relationship eventually produced Tajer.

He is believed to have been killed in the blast that opened the way to Undershore during the war.

Ankari

Ankari is Jetamio's eldest daughter, sired by her childhood friend and eventually husband Yavi. She is a Wood Elf, with her fathers jet black hair, and her mothers eyes. She became a warrior, though not one of great note, and currently resides in Kelethin and works for the Guard.

Rotrah

After Yavi's untimely death, Jetamio was married to Tolthar. Their first son never made it to adulthood.

Thowra

Thowra was their second child, a daughter named for the windstorm that occured during her birth. While blonde as a child, she grew up to be the picture of her mother, but took her fathers musical abilities and eventually surpassed him. She is very friendly and carefree, always a smile for people. She is currently often found adventuring in some exotic new places.

There was a 300 year gap after Tolthar's demise where Jetamio appeared to vanish from Norrath. (I had a stalker problem so changed her name to Kalsari for a while). She 'reappeared' after Tajer had her touched by Dragons blood and brought her to Infernal Dynasty. Shortly afterwards, she met Stormfollower.

Tortha

Almost certainly born from their meeting in Crow's, Tortha is their first son. He is almost as tall as his father, though not so heavily muscled. He has his mothers flaming red hair and golden eyes. Jetamio was still Drakkin when he was born, and there are faint patterns on his skin from the Draconic influence, though only when one looks closely. He became a Beast Lord, though mostly stays with the tribe rather than adventuring.

Cionadh

A daughter, whose looks throwback to Stormfollower's father. She has silver hair and bright green eyes and is fascinated with the arcane arts.

Remis

Radha

Twin to Remis, she is the light to his dark. She is as tall as he is, and is well built for a woman but not unattractively so. She is half Barbarian after all. She has her mother's red hair and golden eyes and an Elven grace of movement even in battle. She and her brother were nearly inseparable during their childhood, until they came of age to choose their path. Radha chose to become a Paladin and left to go train in Qeynos.

Radha was also born with her brothers 'gift' but instead of embracing it as he did, she buried it away inside her and tried to ignore it. While her brother has mastered it, she has little to no control over it. They do have a mild telepathic link, mostly sensing each others emotions rather than actual thoughts.
