She wandered through a woodland meadow. The long grass was virtually hay now, and swayed gently like rippled gold in the late summer breeze. It was a large meadow, gently sloped as it was in the foothills of the mountains beyond. Great oaks and acers dotted the meadow, with more and more the closer she got to the forests edge.
She heard a great cry, and stopped, looking up at the sky for the source of it. A golden eagle soared above her, again crying out his dominion of the sky. A word formed in her mind, a word she did not know the meaning of yet knew it was a name. As she stood bathed in the gold of the afternoon, the golden eagle began to circle above her, coming closer and closer.
She woke up, and found herself staring at a strange ceiling. Sitting bolt upright, she looked around and then sighed in relief as she remembered where she was. It had been late last night when she arrived, and she had decided to spend the night in the Lion's Mane Inn.
As she got dressed, the scene from her dream came to her mind again and she pondered it. Jetamio rarely dreamed, she often did not sleep long enough to dream. But occasionally, she had such vivid visions that it unnerved her. Once it had even come during waking hours, causing the Dynasty shaman to study her closer. He had put it down to her meddling with the Spirit Realm as a druid before, and it had left her open to the Spirits dreams sometimes. She had not been set on believing him, that particular shaman was off his rocker anyway, and it had been his 'visions' that had gotten her accused of murdering her own grandchild. But... sometimes she did wonder, after dreams such as this. A shiver ran down her back.
Pushing the strange dream to the back of her mind, she made her way downstairs to the bar and asked for a hot drink. She watched the dust dancing in the beam of morning sunlight that streamed through the window while she waited. The bartender came back with a cup of fruit tea, and she was sipping it quietly, watching the goings on of the inn, when Stormfollower came followed closely by a barely adolescent Drakkin.
Jetamio's eyes were immediately captivated by the gold coloured Drakkin, whose feral eyes looked back at her with equal interest. Instantly, the word from her dream materialised in her mind, but she tore her eyes away from this captivating being to look at Stormfollowe.
"Good morning to you. What is this you have come accross in your travels? Is she not a little young for you?" She smiles playfully, knowing fine well the girl is not his Chosen, but trying to relieve her own tension with a little humour.

Stormfollower smiled a little at Jetamios jest and then, stepping to one side, with a small gesture he bade the young one come forward to meet her and
with pride in his eyes he smiled down apon her then looked back at Jetamio then quickly to the floor.
"We... I found her in an aspen grove alone and bewildered. I thought..well more truthfully, I was compelled to bring her to thee. She will make a great warrior I think." Storrmfollower again smiled for a second then reached down for a piece of his dark cloak and began to wring it nervously between both hands" If you would see to her care I would be greatly relieved, for I know nothing of the needs of a female child let alone one of thy mysteriose race." His emploring eyes reached up from their meandering upon the floor and met those of Jetamio. Within them she could see a world of worry and regret.

Jetamio returned her gaze to the young one, and smiled at her. "Do you have a name?" The girl met her gaze with those predatory eyes and shook her head. Jetamio was again reminded of the eagle, and decided perhaps the dream was indeed an omen. She nodded to herself, the name from her dream would be apt. "Then you shall be Delsari."
The girl repeated the name as though chewing it over, then nodded. "I like it."
Jetamio smiled, and made a mental note to have armour made for the young warrior. Then, sensing the Shaman distress she turned her attention back to him. "Something troubles you Storm." she states rather then asks, deciding it up to him if he tells her or not. Delsari looks at him too with a puzzled look.

A relieved look passes over his face now and Storm smiled. He looked back and forth between the two of them. It was obviouse now that this young one would be safe with Jetamio to guide her and he need no longer worry. Yet still there was an inkling of regret left in the northmans eyes. Long ago when he had seen his chosen across that busy courtyard, he knew that he would never sire a child with her, and when he had seen Delsari for one brief golden moment in that far away grove his heart had lept at the possibility he might have a child to look after.
His thoughts had suddenly raced at how he might train this young one and how thier lives must be destined to intertwine. But just as suddenly he had come to his sences. He was a Shaman and a northman, what could she possibly gain from his teachings? He could see a confusion in this young drakkin, and apon reflection saw that it would only deepen within the botomless and turbid waters of his ideology. It was not his place to mold this young one into a warrior of the wolf tribe. She must be with her own kind and be free to choose her own path and follow it to her own destiny. Her spirit soared and her beauty was magnificent but it was not his to attempt to control. That is why he brought her to Jetamio. That is why he spoke few words to her in thier transit. That is why he would leave now and let them begin the long journey towards a destiny together.
He smiled apon Jetamio and gave a comic wink to Delsari "Nay, nothing troubles me any longer. I am relieved that this young one..Delsari as she is now called, is in thy capable hands. I shall return now to my grove so not to waste this fasting and if there be more young drakkin there I shall bring them to thee also." He chuckled and bowed, first to Jetamio and then to Delsari. How much alike they looked he thought. They could easily be mistaken for mother and daughter. It all fit so perfectly. Stormfollower was proud of himself and beamed accordingly.

Jetamio watches Storm, reading more from his eyes than he said in words. She glances at the young one, then back at Storm and smiles.
"I hope you are right to bring her to me, I have not been....a mother, for centuries." She see's his beaming face and laughs before speaking again.
"I have no mate...and everyone needs a father figure." Looking at him pointedly, noting the hint of regret in his eyes. "It would do no harm for her to learn from you too. You have even taught me valuable lessons."
She smiles again, then beckons the young one over, looking her over more closely. She did look remarkably like her aside from the gold where she was green, though her face was a little narrower. Her hair was longer, unkempt but silky smooth. Jetamio made a mental note to braid it for her so it did not get in her way when she fought.
The girl seemed to be making similar evaluations about her, studying Jetamio's face with those wild eyes, so like hers in colour, before meeting her gaze and holding it. She was mildly surprised at this, one so young holding her gaze while few much older and wiser people could.
It then occured to her that no one had asked Delsari what she wanted. But seeing her unfazed expression, she came to the conclusion the girl was happy with the arrangement.
She looked again at Stormcaller, seeing what he thought of her suggestion.

Storm thought for a few moments, obviosly taken aback by the sugestion. Slowly he looked up and nodded in agreement. "Yes, it has always been my hope...I mean I would like that, it would be my honour to do...whatever I can do ...to help in her... conditioning." He then bowed low before Jetamio, and then turning to Delsari he stammered nervously "That is, of course, if it is wished of by the young lady.." He bowed equaly as low for her, and intently awaited her eyes as well as her mouths answer.
The golden Drakkin had remained mostly quiet, pondering the last few hours. She had woken up in that aspen grove, alone and confused although unafraid. Then the rugged stranger had come, and brought her to this place that was both alien and yet also familiar to her. He had said very little to her on the way, but it had been a comfortable silence, despite the feeling she got that he was somewhat in awe of her. In those few hours she had come to trust him.
And now he presented her to this emerald woman, who after gazing at her with a strange look had given her a name to be called by. Delsari. She did not recognise the name, but it felt strangely right. Just as it felt right to be near this woman, and the newly named Delsari suddenly felt a protective urge for the other Drakkin. Where another might have shown resentment at being given to another by someone they trusted, Delsari knew that it was the right path...perhaps even destiny, although she had little concept of that just yet.
Then she realised they were talking to her, and watched as the Northman bowed to her new 'mother' and then turned to her.
"That is, of course, if it is wished of by the young lady.."
She looked at him, trying to form words, but still finding it very difficult to talk, though she did not know why. So she beamed a radiant smile at him, and on a seemingly spontaneous note, she flung her arms around his neck, squeezed him slightly, enough to reveal a hint of surprising strength, but not enough to cause him discomfort. Then she let go and stepped back, still grinning, her eyes shining with the warmth of the summer sun, yet still a hint of that feral spirit.
Jetamio laughed "I think that's a yes!"

"Excellent then!" Stormfollower smiled "It is settled." Then he gestured to the kitchen "Now I must not tarry any longer for if the smells of roasting food and hearty brews tempt me any longer I will be unabale to resist."
He smiled at the pair of drakin and bowed again, then heading out the door he added " You two have allot to talk about I would imagine, I will leave you to it. I go now to prepare the grove for the dream questing. Come in two days, I beleive Delsari can show you the way" Outside he could be heard to bellow for his great horse "Heusfell! Let us ride once more! Forth into the northern horizons!"
