"This is not the Magician! This is only a pet, controlled from far beneath us by the true evil responsible for this attack! Be prepared to dive!"

Pulling out some fish scales he quickly binds their essence to those who do not have the power to breath underwater.

P`Nala calls to the companions who are still fighting to cease their attacks while she incants a spell to mezmerize the creature.

Mujbura realizes she is the only person attacking the being, with the exception of the pets and ceases her assault looking over at Stormfollower as he yells out that they are to prepare to dive. "Dive?" she mutters in a soft whisper as he affixes the fishscale essence to her.

P`Nala casts her spell, putting the creature to sleep. Gilliadson and Myrikel sheath their blades and pull a couple of rods out that grow into spears that have four flaming points on them. P`Nala glanced back to make sure the boat that held Remis' body was still intact and floating and prepared to dive with the rest of the companions.

Stormfollower looked around and took a quick account of the survivors. It appeared half the fleet was gone. Those boats that still survived were in a loose group around the funeral ship of Remis.

"The real threat is on the oceans floor. We must settle this once and for all! The undersea magician will no longer plague our seas with its mad manifestations."

He dove under the water and headed down into the murky depth. Plumes of ichor choked the kelp that grew like a sickly forest before them. Far below, beyond the reach of most fish, in a place where no land dwelling mortal eyes had seen, a faint green light of some eldrich magic illuminated the place where the magician must be.

Gilliadson and company followed Stormfollower as he dove toward the depths. The light of Sineliniel's staff illuminated the the area around them. P`Nala felt the Magician's mind. It was strong but hers was stronger. P`Nala knew that when she got close enough that she could easily feed off of the Magician's magical energies and feed them to her companions and herself.

Mujbura dove behind Stormfollower, though her swimming skills were sufficient, they were not masterful. But still, she intended to keep her promise, as well as protect the brother of her heritage. Even if she already knew his strength could outdo hers. But even still, she dove and stayed by his side following him into the depths of one of her fears, water. Her heart aches as they swim by the sickly looking plantlife. She avoids the pain by concentrating on Stormfollower and the impending battle.

As they drew closer to the source of the scourge above they could see the creature who had for so long pulled the strings of the beast who had destroyed the Wolf Cults little fishing fleets on two occasions now. With the head of some sort of octapoid and a humanoid body it was in the throws of some new illusion spinning. Stormfollower too could feel the power that fed this evil creature and senced its impure source. It reached out to him and sucked greedily on his soul just for a moment as his thoughts slipped into the entertainment of the idea of harnessing its tainting Power. With sudden reflexive repulsion the shaman withdrew his mind wanting no part of this creatures bargain. Throwing up a protection against the lies of its temptation Stormfollower cloaked the group in a shield of truth invoking the Tribunal itself to aid in its execution.

Gilliadson and Myrikel charged the evil mage with the speed of baracuda in the water thrusting their spears at it. P`Nala cast a few spells that would drain magical energies from the underwater mage and replenish the groups energies. Sineliniel commanded Fluffy to charge the creature and summoned razor sharp shards of steel that flew toward it with lightning speed.

Mujbura stayed as close as possible to Stormfollowers side until she stopped short of him, but close enough to feel the seduction it possessed. She raised her eyes to look to the heavens, but they were cloudied by the murky water. The demented plantlife saddening her nature bound heart. Tears would have fallen if she were not already submersed in water. She had no reference with which to pull The Mothers inspiration, all around her had been spoiled by the sea-mages magick.

"The Mothers love beats within your heart." her fathers voice whispers. She smiles a bit remembering when he had said those words, and the snowball that ended up covering his face.

She closes her eyes searching within for Tunare's inborn gift then begins whispering a prayer to her Goddess provided the group with the power to correct any wounds that battle may cause. Another prayer whispered and plants had begun growing around their bodies, its vines covered in sharp thorns. The Mother also provided the group with the gift of speed, making their blades and movements blur through the murky water. Her hands begin to glow with the power of The Mothers Mother whose anger is directed at the mage.

Tajer met Jetamio's eyes, and knew her intention. The Druid was going to stay above and keep the creature occupied after P'Nala's spell wore off. Momentarily torn between staying to help Jetamio and going down below, she decided that the druid could handle her own. Diving into the murky depths, she quickly made her way down to the others, her Dark Elven eyes piercing the darkness.

She felt the seductive pull on her mind, the promise of great power. Her lips curled up in a knowing smile. Oh how well she knew that siren call, she had lived with it for a long time singing constantly in her blood begging for release. A power that she had only ever unleashed in battle and then quickly reined in. She could easily resist this beings tainted promise.

Hovering a little behind the others, for she was normally considered the enemy, she waited for an order to attack.

P`Nala starts to force her will upon the Undersea Magician to cause it to believe that it is suffocating. Fluffy repeated swung his weapons at the creature. Gilliadson and Myrikel's spears call forth fiery blades that assist in the attack against the Mage. Sineliniel momentarily feels the lure of the creatures promise but living with a Truthbringer for as long as she had, she knows it to be a lie and simply ignores the creatures beckon as she summons another round of shards to attack it. She feels the power that this creature holds and already knows it to be inferior to her own.

Deep underwater the faithful band commenced their attack. The Undersea Magician was an equal match for their brutal onslaught. Its ancient magics festered up from some unseen depths. Lost deep places even further below than the abysmal place they now swam in. The darkness was all encompassing and were it not for the light of the rune encrusted blades of the attackers all would have been black.

The magician threw all it had into attacking the group and it appeared his rabid summons` would have no end. Foul creatures issued from the muck around him in a hideous mockery of sea life. Each after the other was struck down in quick succession with blow after blow landing on the alien magician himself. When it began to falter it sent out a sonic blast through the dense waters, pushing the bold companions back in a whirling vortex of currents.

Stormfollower clasped his crafted Talisman of Fates and shook it, calling upon the boon of the Fateseer to heal and strengthen the attacks of his friends.

Then the shock wave hit him. Its force bombarding him square in the chest. Had it not been for the spirits that sustained him without breath underwater he would have surely succumbed to the depths then and there. As it was he had just enough wits still with him to send forth his spirit pack to gnash at the creature with their ghostly fangs.

As if responding to an invite for tea the creatures monotone "voice" enters their minds then. Its evil thoughts were of a strange organization and completely eldritch to those who listened to its insane new bargain. Each thought assaulted them each on a deeply subconscious, personal level as if each point left a putrid film on their individual ideals of valour and love. An undercurrent of nausea accompanied each short, disassociated command in their heads.

"Be calm with us... To each one we bring a good toy... Leave our world to our devouring or move only your feet in it... End sad feeling complaints... Your spawn we will eat and share with you... Have no mind but ours we teach you..."

One by one, from the inky blackness around them more squinting eyes like the magicians reflected back their red corneas as they slowly slithered forward towards the embattled heroes.

Gilliadson shakes the thoughts clear from his head knowing them to be lies. Pulling his Sword of Truth, he prays to Mithaniel Marr to show his friends the truth of the matter at hand. The blade glows brightly in his hand as the will of the Truthbringer is channeled through it dispelling the lies of the Mage's new message.

As the light of Gilliadson's blade shines on P`Nala, she quickly casts her area Mezmerize spell toward the eyes that appear to be approaching the group.

Sineliniel calls forth another wave of Elemental minions to attack the Mage.
