Within the amulet the disembodied souls of Remis and Stormfollower stood face to face now. Remis stood mute for many moments before lashing out against his fathers revelations.

"You don’t know what you are talking about! Neither do they!"

Stormfollower sat down before Remis and calmly closed his eyes. "Feel the silence between them and us Remis. Quiet your soul to the places between all things." He placed his hands palm upwards on his knees as a dim radiance began to flow out from them."

Remis wheeled around in the darkness looking for a tangible source for the voices he had heard. He found nothing but the black of the void around them. Turning once more to face his father he summonsed his own brand of stillness. He too became deathly calm, then threw himself, teeth gnashing, at his fathers throat.

((I could have sworn I responded to this already but whatever, I'll do it again lol. The Barbarian's in EQ are based primarily on Old Scottish/Irish heritage from what I've seen lol...one NPC actually used words I've only heard in my home region  But I guess Norwegian works, the two nations have always had strong ties to each other :) ))

Jetamio watched the chaos around her ensue, torn between helping the others and protecting her fallen twins. Radha stirred and moaned, suggesting that she had decided returning to her body was the better option, but she did not wake. Jetamio stared at Stormfollower, standing there in his catatonic state out of her reach. She couldn't take them all with her.

She watched the white wolf that seemed so enthralled with her husband stand protectively near him, and Tajer also lingered near him, giving warning feints with her sword at any who came to close. She seemed undecided about who was on what side among the Tribe, but she seemed determined not to let any too close to Stormfollower.

Deciding that he was adequately protected for now, she blinked away tears as she laid a hand upon Remis and Radha and whispered a single word. In an instant the three vanished from the scene, momentarily reappearing in the far off Aspen Grove where she was sure he would come when he was free.

((Mujbura already took Stormfollower out of the scene unless I misread her post...))

With Jetamio, Stormfollower and the twins safely away, Gilliadson shouts to Tajer.

"Get close! Willa will take us out of here!"

The Halfling Druidess begins casting her spell, awaiting Gilliadson's command before uttering the final word.

Sineliniel calls constant barrages of Fiery rain upon the advancing foes while her husband and daughter cut down any who get close enough.

P`Nala attacks the minds of the live enemies with illusions, throwing many of them into confused states and causing some of them to attack their own allies.

(( Nope, I don't remember seeing that, Jet.... Oh well, as you stated, they're closely related, and close works for me. Cuz, well, mostly because I'm too darn lazy to go back and try to redo any of it. lol :p

Mujbura and Storms portion continued here, " To Dream a Reality ". Though, I feel that will only be a short offshoot and the SL will come back to this thread. ))

The fighting amoungst Stormfollowers people subsided as quickly as it had formed. With only a few heroes left and both Remis and Stormfollower gone they were left confused and with vey few options but to head for the caves to sort out thier differences later...should any of them be left to.

And though the spirits had all dissolved in search of thier "speaker" the undead hoard shambled on. Though it had no skill at all when compared with that of Gilliadson and his well trained group, they more than made up for this in shear numbers. Slowly, as the bodies piled up before them the intrepid group was being overwealmed against the relentless tide of the dead.

Things were looking grim indeed.

Gilliadson and Myrikel cross their Holy blades and mutter quick prayers which are answered with a blinding flash of light as the pure holy power of the two knights explodes outward. The wave of light disintegrates all of the undead in the area. The two knights, now spent, fall over unconscious. Sineliniel's Elemental minions and Fluffy take protective positions in front of the two Paladins.

Willanaome shouts to Tajer. "Come quickly! Before they raise up another army!"

Tajer hesitates, having rather gone with Jetamio, but decides that going with the halfling was better than dealing with the horde of undead by herself. She comes over and stands by the two Paladins, eyeing them curiously.

Willa quickly casts her spell and the last group of companions are whisked away... They reappear at Gill-Alani in The Commonlands. Several Crimson and Silver clad Paladins gather and carry Gilliadson and Myrikel into the Manor.

Sineliniel calls a young Half-Elf over. and then looks at Tajer.

"You are more than welcome to rest here while we try to find the rest of our friends. Cecianne will see to whatever needs you may have."

P`Nala casts off her Illusion.

"She may stay in the room next to mine." The Teir'Dal Illusionist chimes in. "I rarely get the pleasure of seeing one of my own people who is not trying to take my head back to Mother."

Tajer looks up at the Commonlands sun beating down on her head. Not even a twinge of a headache causes her mixed emotions. She sighs, looks at P'Nala and waits for her to lead the way.

"There are few in Neriak who can command me, and your Mother is not one of them. I will not be delivering any heads to her."

A couple approach Sineliniel and embrace her, apparently family members.

P`Nala smiles and leads the way into the manor with Cecianne in tow. A young Human male approaches P`Nala.

"I am glad to see that you have returned to us safely M'Lady is there anything that I can do for you?"

"Thank you Daniel, I am just showing Lady Tajer to her room. I will see you in the Chapel afterward if you like. Would you send a dispatch to my sister to let her know that I am home safely?

"I will see to it immediately, M'Lady and will look forward to praying with you."
The young man runs off.

"I think he is attracted to me, but right now I have too many pressing issues to be sidetracked." P`Nala smiles at Tajer. "Perhaps when all of this is settled... Daniel was my apprentice for quite some time but he has grown into his power quite well. I have some of my sister's worship items available if you would like to set up a temporary prayer shrine in your room."

Tajer simply shakes her head, seemingly at a loss for words. Too much had happened in a short time. She had lost what she had identified herself with, lost the man she had called Father for surely now he would never welcome her back. Now she just felt lost and alone in a world she no longer understood. She walked over to the window and stared out over the grounds.

Children of the Knights who guarded the estate and patrolled The Commonlands played in the courtyard below Tajer's window. The mothers of the Children watched them and talked amongst themselves while their husbands stood watch at the gates and did their patrols. Willanaome was holding a class with a few of the older children nearby. A blur of Black and Red came running through the gates and stopped inside. The bard put his drum away and entered the house.
