Jetamio looks up from her silent vigil, momentarily surprised to see him standing there.

"We will wait here...this is where he will come."

Within Cerissa`s dream Remis drew closer to her, his eyes smoldering as they crawled slowly over her shapely body.

"How can you call this betrayal? Have I not delivered the soul of my father into your hands?"

He set one hand on the railing beside her, his rist barely touching the exposed flesh of her hip. He places his forefinger of his other hand under her chin and pulls at her lower lip with his thumb. Before she can answer he kisses her firmly on the lips, grabbing the back of her head while leaning full into her, threatening to send them both toppling over the railing to be spalyed across the rocky ground below.

Without a chance to answer she melds into his passionate kiss with a loud gasp slipping onto his lips as his hand grabs a handful of her hair. Her hands grip his clothes firmly holding his body close to hers in a refusal to release him. The low growl of lust rumbles up her throat onto his lips as her passion pours out against him pushing back at him until his back slams against a wall. Desperately hungry kisses make their way along his jawline moving down his neck with her teeth finding their way more harshly onto his tender neck.

Even within the dream the beast within her wakes stirring beneath the surface within its prison cell. Even she was unsure of the consequences for him, or her, of if there truly were any, if it were unleashed upon this perfect specimen within the dream realm. This thought hastily pushed aside as the lustful hunger demanded to be fed. Another passionate kiss having found its way to his lips leaves his name whispered into his mouth.

Heated kisses and ravenous lust heat the cool night air on the balcony around them. Greedy fingers still refuse to release their grip upon his robe while impatient words are kissed upon his lips in a lustful whisper, “What do you want?” She could have better explained her question should she had subsided from the delicious treat of his passion.

"Freeedom!" Again Remis spoke words before he thought them in answer to the question she had asked him once before. "Release my spirit caught within your amulet. "
Harshly, he parted from her grasp then swirled into a mass of formless shadows coalescing them into the semblance of a black skeleton as he had done before.

"Or this is all you shall ever see ...or feel of me again."

Once more the sound of clattering bones accompanied a wicked laugh as they crumbled to the floor.

Mujbura turns towards Stormfollower. She saw the worry in his eyes and nuzzles her head up against the sleek fur on his shoulder, her body follows sliding against his body. A canine caress of endearment hoping to bring him some comfort.

Raising her head she looks up at him with soft eyes, “Stormy, you know we cannot remove him from existence here in this dream world….” She pauses her face sinking into sadness, “We need to wake so we can help him from the other side, ‘if’ he allows us. He will think you betrayed him, until he is rescued.”

A quick nuzzle under his chin then she looks up at him, “What do you want to do, my brother?”

Echoes of demons swirl around and embrace the young Teir’dals childlike giggles. Walking in languid steps finds her by the six-poster bed, she turns towards Remis folding her arms as she leans back against one of the bed-posts.

“Ultimatums, my darling…? Demands…?” she huffs a snicker before continuing, “Perhaps you forget your position.” Her grin darkens with sadistic pleasure, “Perhaps you should meet another of my darlings.” Raising one hand her fingers snapping once, obediently a pile of bones rattle from the ground forming into a skeleton with green glowing eyes.

The skeletal pet rattles over to his Mistresses side where she shifts her body to rest her arm on his shoulder leaning against him. “Remis, my darling, please do meet Ailian….” She pauses a moment to look over at the skeletal pet tracing one sharply filed nail along his boney jawline, “He too thought he could demand for his freedom. He too thought he could leave my service.”

She waves the skeletal pet off before sitting on the edge of the bed, her sadistic grin still laying across her dark lips. “Now Ailian is my most loyal,” she pauses a moment her grin darkening as she speaks the word she has used for him, and her other pets, “darling.” She sighs snaking an arm up one of the bed posts then leans her head against her arm, “I had hoped more for you.” A soft hiss from her lips and Ailian returns to his position beside her bed then returns to his collapsed position on the floor.

"Yes, I had hoped more for you. I gave you form when you asked, I gave you an army to lead against your father, I gave you,,,, life." A soft sigh leaves her lips before she continues, "And still yet you chose your family. You believed their lies. You chose them, their life, over me." She sighs once more, "I would have given you a kingdom." Laying her head on her arm that rests on the bedpost she looks at the pile of bones that makes Remis, “Tell me, Remis. Why should I continue to listen to you?”

The pile of bones rattles gently as a cold wind blows the curtains into the room whith a whitling moan. The door hinge creeks loadly as the only exit to her room slams shut. Candles are blown clear off thier shelves and the icy wind claws deeply into Cerrissas exposed flesh. The bones dissolve into the floor and Remis` voice booms out with laughter.

"Just who is the prisoner here my love?"

The bed flies sideways and slams against the wall. chairs and tables follow, some of them breaking with the now gale force winds driving in through the open archway to the balconey.

"Release me or you shall spend eternity buffeted by the winds of my creation!"

Outside lightning crashes into the stone balconey, shearing it clean off the fortess wall. Thunder booms so loudly that Cerissa is forced to cover her ears.

"I am master here!"

The wind dies down and the room is left dishevelled with Cerrisa alone amidst the clutter.

Cerissa laughs maniacally griping onto the bedpost as the winds begin forming. A gust of the winds toss her to the middle of the large bed. Her sharp, clawed nails dig into the plush mattress keeping her from being blown off the bed. She crumples into a ball the wind searing through her back pulls her back up with a raised head and loud scream.

His question booms throughout the room before her bed slides across the room slamming into the wall. Her laughter accompanying the winds and destruction around her. The man’s insanity was so beautifully appealing to her. His power seductive. The darkness within him so attractive. But, he had chosen his family, this useless emotion titled “love”. She knew he still had the darkness within, she could feel it. But there was just that bit of light within him that she knew would always keep him tamed.

Remis’ outburst done and the winds dying down finds Cerissa on the middle of her bed on all fours, her long hair draped over her head. Raising her head slowly the grin of deaths daughter slides across her lips. Sitting back upon her feet she raises her hands to the air another loud maniacal laugh echoes across the room.

Yellow, deathly eyes peer between strands of her dark locks. Slowly a sound rumbles from deep within her chest making its way up her throat until the soft laugh passes her lips blowing her hair in gentle waves. “Ohhhhhh Reeeemis….” she taunts.

“Enjoy your world, alone.” Her loud laughter echoes off the furniture and walls of the tossed room once more before she shouts, “Ailian!”

Boney fingers shake his Mistress awake and she rolls over back into the real world while still laughing, “Call the potion maker, I need another potion.” The skeletal pet nods exiting the room. Cerissa lays on her back whispering, “Why him?”

Stunned into silence by her reaction to his dominion over her dream Remis observed the sceleton exit through the door wich, by his direction, should be jammed shut. He wondered how she had withstood the icy cold he had made fill the room and why she did not wonder at the strange events that he had just made occur. Could it be she realised this was all a dream? This would explain her lack of apprehension but would it be enough for her to maintain imunity to his heretofore irisitable power over the dreams of others? He would need to try harder. At least his will to hold her dream together still proved true as she seamed unable to wake from it at this point.

He would have to change things up and by distraction perhaps he could make her forget that this was a dream. Then would he be able to infect her mind with the germ of an idea as he had planned.

Deep within the heart of a desert landscape she lay now her throat was parched and sand blew all around her, The sun beat down heavy through the whipping sands. Overhead a vulture circled. It was Remis but he chose not to reveal himself to her here, he would wait to see how her mind delt with the sudden shift in scenery.

Most dreamers when confronted with a new situation will meld directly into it, perhaps confused for a momnet but then fully accepting that this is where they have always been, never stopping to wonder how it was the came to be there. But Lucid dreamers, these were a different breed. A lucid dreamer could pop themselves from scene to scene themselves ... in a sence resetting the dream when it became too intence. Remis had met a few of these type but not one had been able to resist him fully and always, in the end, he had convinced them they were not dreaming.

He circled higher and screached to call more vultures to the death march of Cerissa. He watched her closely now from his hieghts.

Back at the borderlands between the real world and the lands of thought and conscience Stormfollower stood in his totem animal form and beside him the True-Wolf Mujbura held her place with pride and confidence. She had chosen to come here at great risk to her own immortal soul. Without a thought to her own preservation she had stood by his side time and again in defence of their tribe, in kinship and love. Nature itself shone forth from her white aura and the shaman basked in it desperately. His fog had kept her safe this far but he felt it would waver soon and it was obvious she did not know he was still bound to Remis, trapped within the evil amulet just as he was.

"Step back through Mujbura, the lands of reality await thy return. I must stay a bit longer and tidy our path to here so that no ill spirits might follow us through." It was not a lie, for a shaman of the Tribunal could not lie. Yet his voice betrayed the omission of details.

The mist began to fall away from them as Stormfollower surrendered to his doubts once more. The wilderness of Mujburas creation revealed itself with stunning glory. Her world was pure and he could not see it tainted by the greyness that threatened to seep in from outside the noble artists mind.

"Go now...please" The drums of war so quite in recent times began to beat again in his mind, awoken now by his re-awareness of the true path.

Around the edges of a beautiful calm stream, grey, impartial thought-beings of emptiness slithered to the surface unseen by Mujbura but Stormfollower had sensed thier coming. Once more his pact to rid the world of all things evil was being challenged. Not by the evil itself but again by the greyness that lay between the dark and the light. The same greyness that allowed the deeds of sinners to go without true and just retribution. In a world beset by evil this neutral stance had taken many of his friends and now it had come once more for him.

“Calm now Stormfollower” a toneless voice limped, whispering past his ear “No sense to make a scene. Your thrashing ideologies do not promote themselves well”

His eyes shot to Mujbura quickly and he forced a smile.

“Come now and ease yourself into the steady flow of the grey. We will carry you along. Why try so hard.” The thought slithered sickly past them both and seeped its way into the real world. More ill words circled the shaman as he struggled to keep his focus on keeping them from infecting Mujbura and he moved away from the delicate barrier so no others could slip through.

“You fight bravely shaman but the war was over long ago” a crooked old murmur poked at him with its cane.

“Certainly you can see the truth in a unified front of good and evil” a forked tongue redolent of the recent laws of man spat at him as he began to reel into the grey that nibbled at the edges of Mujburas creation. “Think of thyself and the comfort of thy peoples.”

“Dont attack the hand that feeds you”

“Keep on the track, follow the path of least resistence”

“The middle road Stormfollower, the middle road”

“Even now you are missing the rest that everyone else now enjoys” this time the image of thousands of lumbering corpses accompanied the thought-beings probing words. Stormfollower shook the mad mentionings off and as groups of them massed about his feet hissing and murmuring the comforting words of surrender, he pushed Mujbura through the barrier as he shouted after her

“Keep your thoughts on the Wolf Path True Wolf. Warn the others. They come!”

In the Aspen Grove, Radha opened her eyes to her mothers concerned expression. She blinked a couple of times and twisted her head to her brothers still form. He breathed, but he wasn't there. She looked back up at Jetamio who watched her now curiously.

"Mother... lend me your Power...I can find him with your help."

Jetamio shook her head sadly. "I cannot do that. I am born of the Wild, of the Earth...not of Dreams. My Power cannot help you there. The power is within you, as strong as your brothers. You just lack direction, and raw talent gets you only so far."

Radha closed her eyes in frustration.

A grin slides across Cerissa’s lips as she feels his pull. She had allowed him too much, she thought to herself while the robe of souls slide across their Mistress’ body. There was something about him, something she just couldn’t put her finger on. But the four eyes who had become six knew, and they will only allow time to reveal the hidden truths. An inescapable direction finds its way into her mind. “Dream with him.” the one with two dark eyes whispers as Cerissa’s eyes close.

Her body clung to the heat of the sand, her Iksar blood relishing in its warmth. She rolled onto her back looking up at the vultures who dare think she is their next meal. She lay there, admiring them for a moment. Their obvious intent in their hunt to devour. The dark beauty of their instincts. She had watched them circle her for a moment until she had come to a realization. The six eyes squint in a deathly grin. Darkness surrounds its daughters face as she spoke her invitation, “Come to me," she pauses as her grin broadens, "my lover.”

The large black vulture that was Remis decended in an ever tightening gyre, downward into itself, a spiral into madness. He could not control her actions as he so aptly had done to thousands of others before her. He saw now, it was not because she was a lucid dreamer, one who had refined thier mind and emotions as he had. It was, as far as he could tell, that her mind was bereft of normal emotions... all that is but for one, the most base and primative of all emotions...want.
Want or desire, the overiding need for something neccacary. Air, food, water, warmth, and procreation. Nothing more nothing less. She was primal and he was her present craving. He feared wich need he might fullfill as he landed by her side on the burning hot sands of the dream.

"I am here for you" He said palinly as he wafted back into the ghostly semblance of his half elven form.

Mujbura was hesitant to leave Stormfollower, she had promised to watch over him after all. Something crawled under her fur and across her skin like a blanket and then it was gone. Shaking her body the white fur shined in the glory of light that shone in her world while the darkness below surrounded Stormfollower. She could not see it, except in his eyes as his forced smile scared her deeper than she had felt fear in previous times.

She lowered her head, she had failed their people, she had failed him. There was nothing she could do for either, and she knew she had to leave him. But, her feet wouldn’t move, couldn’t move, she just couldn’t find it in her heart to abandon him. “Come what may.” She thought to herself as tears stung her eyes while she looked at him.

She sits up quickly taking in a loud and deep breath as if she had been drowning. She was back in the ice dwelling, where the fire was low. He had pushed her out of the alternate realm, where dreamers dream, and she had no power. “No! Stormy!” she shouts looking at him still sleeping next to her. “Stormy! You can’t stay alone!”

Infinitesimal fists pound on his chest before she lay upon it crying openly, something she had not allowed herself for a long time. She had no way to protect him, no way to keep him safe. She lay over him with tears soaking into his thick layered leather armor for a short time until the tears ran dry.

Pashen groans softly, as most bears do, and lifts the tiny girl off of the Shaman. Pushing her aside he looks at her with a loud groan, the words, “Why do you act so weak?” floating into her mind.

“Because I am.” she states with a cracked voice.

“Then you should weep, for your dead friend.” Pashen replies.

“He isn’t dead!” she shouts, “It is not yet his time! I know this! Don’t ask me how I know, but I do!”

Pashen’s bear lips turn upward in a smile, “I only asked why you act so weak.” The words struck true in her heart. Of all the times Nasorin had spoken in riddles and laughed while she fought to figure out what he was saying, it was this one time she was actually glad he had. She wasn’t weak, she was the True Wolf, and Stormfollower was the Leader of the wolf pack she was in. They all were, in a sense, one. Adopting and promoting of each other, and each others skills. He could still use her, and she could still help him, even if their souls were now divided by a thin curtain between reality and dreams.

She looked at Pashen with extreme urgency, “You need to take him to his family, they are,” she pauses to search her mind to see if she could remember if anyone had mentioned anything before. The words blurt out before she even realized she knew them, “in Aspen Grove.” She hesitates for a moment, but doesn’t question how she could know something she would not normally know. “Tell them to prepare themselves, for ‘they’ come.

She looks at Stormfollower, “He must be with his family when they come. His family must show a united front, or this will never end.” She leans down kissing his cheek softly, lingering near him she whispers into his ear, “I am with you. Still, and always.” knowing he can hear her. Closing her eyes she whispers a prayer to The Mother asking for many blessings. Then also to The Tribunal, that they will care for their son, and help Mujbura in the task she herself needs to do. A miracle is what was needed, and she didn’t hesitate to ask for that as well.

Pashen helps Mujbura secure the still sleeping Stormfollower to his back then groans something about over muscled Northmen, a slight joke to lighten the mood. Mujbura manages a slight smile as she tightens the last of the straps. She walks before Pashen and smiles once more, “Guard his life with yours, he is more important than….” She pauses, she could not speak it. One final glance with instruction, “His wife, she will understand you.” Her eyes plead with her friend, “Release him only to her.” Pashen nods then groans loudly running off through the snow with his carefully packed package.

Mujbura pulls closed her heavy fur cloak and looks off into the distance. A storm came, and would be difficult to travel. But she needed to find the scattered remnants of the tribe and bring them together again to unite with Stormfollower and his family. To essentially, help the tribe, Stormfollower, and his family, even Remis, coalesce into one. What they were meant to be, a united tribe. She pulls a small piece of fur over her face so only her eyes show as she trudges off, her fur-covered feet sinking into the deep snow.
