Game time / Real time Calculations

I found this information on EQChronicles

The following computations can be used for calculating EverQuest calendar dates, if different than the date of journal submission.

3 Minutes = 1 EQ Hour

72 Minutes = One EQ day

One 24 hour day = 20 EQ days

15 days = 300 EQ days

30 days = 1.75 EQ years

1 year = 21 EQ years

For example, if I want to know the Everquest Date my character was born:

1. Do /time in game, note both the Real World Date and the EverQuest Date.

2. Do /played and note the Character's Birthdate.

3.Calculate how many days, or years, of real time from the Real Current Date to the Real Char Birthdate.

4. Calculate that time into everquest numbers using the figures I've noted.

5. Subtract that much time from the Current EverQuest date to figure the Everquest Birthdate

Hmm, cant remember /played time on Jet hehe, but its at least 200 days, maybe more.

The example there is for your characters actual in game birthdate not played time... it uses your character's RL birthdate and the current RL date and in game Date to make the calculations... LOL maybe I should write a program that does that...

If only I could write Java

Jetamio = 87.07 game years

Sineliniel = 75.73 Game years (Tunare Version)

Hmm, Tajer is in her early 40's then and Kalsari is still a toddler.

lol, I liked my time scale better, I'll stick to that

I just added her AA's to her level and decided thats Jets age when I made her here.

No Fair!!!

Does kinda make the game timeline a little rough when you are talking about Tajer's parents dieing in the last battle between FV and LT...

I had originally placed that within Gill's Lifetime but then that's the Gill on Tunare after he met his 2nd wife. 1st wife died in the battle against D`Lere there... (IE her player left the game for WoW and SWG)

Basically I dont try and match my timeline up with anyone elses. Each has their own timeline of events and such. I made Tajer not long after that war so it played a part n her background.

Mine have been around since right after the release of LDoN... Some of mine have been written to have taken part in some of the events and others just rolled by without any help from me...

Like Shinu and Gill's second wife served in the battle for the Firiona Vie Outpost. (That was before they were joined)...
